National League Division 2

In 1934 a new reserve league was formed called the National League division two this competition lasted for only one year. In 1936 the Provincial League was formed and two years later became the National League Division Two The league attracted new entrants Hackney Wick Wolves had moved down from the First Division replacing Bristol who replaced them in the top division the clubs had exchanged riders and licences. Other new teams Lea Bridge, Newcastle, Sheefield and West Ham's reserve team West Ham Hawks. Nottingham withdrew just before the season got under way and were replaced by Leeds Lions.
